Theresa Sept 2005
This is me at the beginning of the school year. I work in a school district.Washington is an absolutely beautiful state. It has it's many wonderful sides and not so wonderful. I've lived here since 1988 and have had grown to be a woman with more talents and interests than I ever realized.
People don't usually want to hear your rants and raves about personal responsibility or the things that just bug you. I decided everyone needs some kind of an outlet; maybe a blog is the answer. I found myself researching other blogs, thinking about what I feel and reading so much more until my butt hurt from sitting in this uncomfortable chair for so long.
I had 2 boys in this world, but one has left this physical realm and now I can only converse with him in the spiritual sense. My other son currently lives far away. He spent the summer with me and helped me get some balance and focus for myself. I also have 2 granddaughters. One lives very far away and the other lives a ways away, but I get to see her and visit with her. She reminds me of her dad so much that it astonishes me when she will have that little look, you know the one, the one that say, " oh grandma, you're so silly". Thank goodness for the grandchildren that will help your own child's legacy live on. I hope that both of my granddaughters will be happy women with a sense of personal responsibility and know how to enjoy the world we live in and keep it beautiful for future generations.
